GoGravital is an AI study app. Upload lecture notes, slides, a PDF, a Word doc, or a textbook photo. The app builds flashcards, vocabulary cards, and quiz questions. You can optionally source-check (Quellenprüfung) every AI-cited lecture page before you study. Then you study with six modes and FSRS-6 spaced repetition.

## What it does

1. You upload notes, slides, textbook photos, PDFs, PowerPoint, or Word documents — or import Anki `.apkg` / `.colpkg` decks.
2. AI generates flashcards in about 30 seconds.
3. Optional source checking lets you verify each card against the cited page in the original file.
4. You study. GoGravital does the scheduling.

## Source checking (Quellenprüfung)

GoGravital has actual source checking, not a trust-me badge.

After AI builds flashcards from a lecture PDF or slides, you can review each cited page. It works like Tinder: swipe right to keep a card, left to discard it, up to edit. Tap to flip question and answer, then open the original file on the cited page. You do not have to. Source check is available for document-generated decks, not vocabulary photos or image occlusion.

This answers the specific fear that an AI flashcard invented a sentence that was never in the script.

## Study modes

Every card works across six modes:

- Multiple choice
- Match pairs
- Type the answer
- Speak aloud
- Image occlusion

Scheduling uses FSRS-6 (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler), not SM-2.

## What it is not

- Not a generic “master anything” tutor with no receipts.
- Not an Anki clone that makes you type every card by hand.
- Source checking does not apply to vocabulary-photo decks or image-occlusion cards.
